Domino’s Pizza and Cold Stone Creamery expands in Nigeria

Barely a year of entering into the Nigerian market, Domino’s Pizza and Cold Stone Creamery has opened another outlet at Toyin Street Ikeja, Lagos, as it pursues its expansion program in Nigeria. This development is in line with the organization’s commitment of providing quality brands to consumers at close proximity.

Domino’s Pizza is a renowned global leader in pizza, while Cold Stone Creamery deals with variants of ice-cream and cake. Cold Stone Creamery, founded by Donald and Susan Sutherland in 1988 in Tempe, Arizona, US, has fundamentally redefined the global concept of ice-cream. Nigeria is the first market for Domino’s in sub-Saharan Africa, and has two outlets at the Island within the first year of operations.

Speaking on the expansion, the lead shareholder of Eat N’ Go Africa, Jean – Claude Meyer, says: “We are very young, the future is bright, we have great plans for Nigeria and we believe that this past year has been tremendous in terms of learning, teaching that this market has given us, we believe in a bit more time we would be doing even better and be able to offer our service quality, customer satisfaction to a broader Nigerian populace. As announced in the press couple of weeks ago, we have two more Domino’s and two more Cold Stone Creamery Store opening up before the end of the year and that will take it to five Domino’s Pizza stores and eight Cold Stone Creamer Stores.

“The road to developing and rolling out in the market is not as easy one, we have certainly had our challenges and successes obviously and we definitely are looking forward to the next four to five years inspect the plans we have unveiled to you a year ago when we announced our grand opening in the country.”
